Taking the boys (and girls) to work

Last year, Take Our Daughters to Work Day added sons to the mix. Corporate America now hosts boys as well as girls on April 22. The program, launched in 1993 to encourage girls to expand their career aspirations, is now called Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day.

Many companies have been including boys for some time, but only last year did the program's founder, the New York nonprofit Ms. Foundation for Women, officially renamed the event Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day.
